Andrea Jeremiah's next has been titled Maaligai. Directed by Kannada filmmaker Dil Sathya, the thriller will have the actor sporting two looks -- that of a cop and a princess. The film reportedly revolves around an Assistant Commissioner who ventures into a palace for investigation, and ultimately gets to know her past.

Speaking to Cinema Express about the film, Dil Sathya says, "Andrea will be playing a strict Assistant Commissioner in the film who is assigned to a mysterious case in a palace. A portion of the film will be shot in a period backdrop set about 300 years ago."

Maaligai also stars Kannada actor Karthik Jayaraman, Ashutosh Rana, KS Ravikumar, Tollywood comedian Ali, and Manobala in supporting roles. The film, which has been shot in Chennai, Kochi, Baroda, and Jaipur, is expected to get a release in May.
