Ram Gopal Varma to debut as actor in Cobra

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma never ceases to amaze one with his projects. The 57-year-old director, who is basking in the success of Lakshmi's NTR, has announced that he will be making his acting debut with a Telugu-Hindi bilingual, titled Cobra.

Billed as the biopic of the ‘most dangerous criminal ever’, the film will have RGV essaying the role of an Intelligence officer named R. The controversial filmmaker released the first look poster of the film on the occasion of his birthday on Sunday.

Agasthya Manju of Lakshmi's NTR fame will be co-directing Cobra with RGV. Also featuring newcomer KG in the lead role, the film will go on floors soon. MM Keeravani is scoring the music for this action-thriller, which is being bankrolled by RGV in association with DPR.
