Last seen in the 2016 film Teraa Surroor, Himesh Reshammiya is making his acting comeback with an upcoming love story. Titled Main Jahan Rahoon, the film will be directed by Rajesh Sethi, an old associate of director Yash Chopra. Slated to go on floors on September 27 (Yash Chopra’s birthday), Main Jahan Rahoon will be shot in Delhi and UK. For the film’s music, which consists of seven pre-recorded songs, Himesh has teamed up with veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar. The duo had last worked together on Namastey London. The title, Main Jahan Rahoon, is borrowed from a song in the Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif starrer film.

Himesh’s production house, HR Muzik Limited, recently acquired the rights for a biopic on Bishnu Shrestha, a Gurkha solider in the Indian Army who fought off 40 hijackers on a running train. The lead actor of the film is yet to be finalised. Besides Main Jahan Rahoon, Himesh will be seen in three other upcoming projects as an actor, including a sequel to his 2014 film The Xposé titled The Xposé Returns
