Megha Akash to make Bollywood debut with Satellite Shankar 

The film is directed by Irfan Kamal and stars Sooraj Pancholi in the lead role

Tamil and Telugu actor Megha Akash will be making her Bollywood debut opposite Sooraj Pancholi in director Irfan Kamal’s upcoming film, Satellite Shankar. Mounting on a grand scale, the film is being shot across 10 Indian states. In the film, Sooraj plays the role of a soldier.

“A lot of Hindi films were offered to me but Satellite Shankar is just something special. It is a very different film and the scale of it is also huge,” Megha said in a statement.

Irfan Kamal added, “She (Megha) is exactly the kind of female lead we were looking for. From the time we saw her, we knew she is the one.” 

Satellite Shankar is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde.

On the Tamil front, Megha will be seen opposite Dhanush in the upcoming film, Enai Noki Paayum Thota. She will also share screen space with Rajinikanth in Karthik Subbaraj’s Petta  and Simbu's next with Sundar C.
