After introducing the characters played by Amitabh Bachchan (Khudabaksh), Fatima Sana Shaikh (Zafira), Lloyd Owen (John Clive) and Katrina Kaif (Suraiyya) in Thugs of Hindostan, the makers of the action-adventure film have unveiled the first look of Aamir Khan's character, Firangi.

In the new motion poster released today, we see Aamir astride on a donkey and sporting brown hair and tinted glasses. A statement from Yash Raj Films described the character as 'extremely wily'. From what we know so far, Firangi is one of the main members of Amitabh Bachchan's Thuggee cult who was orphaned as a child and was raised by the gang.

Thugs of Hindostan is based on Philip Meadows Taylor's enthnographic fiction novel, Confessions of a Thug. The film is set in late 18th century and early 19th century and follows the adventures of a Thuggee cult--led by Amitabh Bachchan's character Khudabaksh--as they pose a serious challenge to British forces in the country.

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the big-budget film is produced by Yash Raj Films and is slated for release on November 8.
