We had previously reported that filmmaker KS Adhiyaman of Thotta Chinungi fame will be making his comeback with a new film starring Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead. It has come to light now that the film has been titled Angel and the female leads will be played by Anandhi and RX 100-fame Payal Rajput.

Said to be a romantic horror, Angel is scheduled to be primarily shot in foreign locations. The music and cinematography of the film will be handled by D Imman and Kaviarasu, respectively. The film is bankrolled by Rama Saravanan, who previously produced films like ABCD, Nepali, Priyasakhi and Thoondil, under his banner OST Films.  

Udhayanidhi is currently shooting for Mysskin's Psycho, alongside Aditi Rao Hydari, director Ram, and Nithya Menen. He also has a romcom  directed by newcomer Enoc, co-starring Priya Bhavani Shankar and Indhuja, in the pipeline.
