In keeping with their promise of unveiling one character a day, the makers of Thugs of Hindostan have released a new motion poster featuring Fatima Sana Shaikh's archer character 'Zafira'.
"Zafirs is fiery and stunning. She is an extremely talented fighter and specialises in combat by bow and arrow. Zafira has perfect accuracy and she doesn’t miss a target, ever. Fatima Sana Shaikh as Zafira brings vigour and freshness to Thugs of Hindostan," read a statement from Yash Raj Films.
Thugs of Hindostan is a period action-adventure film starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ronit Roy, Shashank Arora and others. The big-budget action entertainer is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. Based on Philip Meadows Taylor's book Confessions of a Thug, the film follows the adventures of a Thuggee cult in British India who pose a serious challenge to the invading imperialists.
Fatima made her Bollywood debut in role of Geeta Phogat in the Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal. She had previously appeared in Kamal Haasan's Chachi 420 as a child actor.
Thugs of Hindostan is scheduled for release on November 8 around the Diwali weekend.
