The next film of Arvind Swami, who is awaiting the release of Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, will be directed by Rajapandi of Ennamo Nadakudhu fame. Titled Kallapart, the film also stars Regina Cassandra in the lead. 

Bankrolled by Moving Pictures, the makers of Vikram's Sketch, Kallapart also stars Anandraj in an important role. Touted to be a thriller, the film will have cinematography by Arvind Krishna and music by Nivas K Prasanna. An announcement regarding the rest of the cast and crew is expected soon. The shoot of the film commenced yesterday and the first schedule is officially confirmed to be happening in Chennai. 

Meanwhile, Arvind Swami also has Karthick Naren's Naragasooran and Nirmal Kumar-directed Sathuranga Vettai 2 in the pipeline, while Regina has the long-delayed Nenjam Marappathillai and Venkat Prabhu's Party in her kitty.
