Telugu actor Ravi Awana joins Ajith's Viswasam

Though there has been no official information about Ravi's character, he reportedly plays one of the antagonists in the film

After debuting in Nani's Telugu film Krishnarjuna Yudham, Ravi Awana will be venturing into Tami lcinema with Ajith-starrer Viswasam. The actor confirmed the news on his Instagram page by posting a picture with Ajith, captioned: "Shooting for my Tamil debut movie with one and only Thala Ajith sir. It was a pleasure working with you and I learnt many things from you, both as an actor and a human."

Though there has been no official information about Ravi's character, he reportedly plays one of the antagonists in the film. The Siva-directorial is progressing at a very brisk pace, and pictures of a veshti-clad Ajith with fighters in a wrestling arena have been circulating in social media recently. 

The film, which marks the fourth collaboration of Ajith and Siva, also stars Nayanthara, Vivek, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, Thambi Ramaiah and Robo Shankar. It is scheduled to hit the screens for Pongal next year.
