The shooting of Bala's Varma was wrapped up yesterday. The Tamil remake of the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy marks the debut of Dhruv Vikram, who will reprise the role played by Vijay Devarkonda. Model-turned-actor Megha will be playing the female lead role, originally essayed by Shalini Pandey. A picture of the cast and crew from the sets has cropped up on social media.

Produced by E24 Entertainment, Varma has dialogues penned by acclaimed writer-director Raju Murugan. The film has music by Radhan, who was the composer for Arjun Reddy as well. Varma's album will be launched at an event in Vellore on September 22.
