Naga Chaitanya-starrer Shailaja Reddy Alludu will be a smash hit, says Nagarjuna 

A gala pre-release event for the film was held on Sunday, with the likes of Nagarjuna, Nani and Akhil gracing it as special guests

The pre-release event of Naga Chaitanya-starrer Shailaja Reddy Alludu, which took place on Sunday, was nothing short of a festival for Akkineni fans. The enthusiastic lot had to wait for over a year to see their favourite actor back in action in a full-length role, after Yuddham Sharanam.

The event was a gala affair that saw the likes of Nagarjuna, Nani and Akhil gracing it as the special guests.

Speaking at the event, Nagarjuna said, “Everyone is addressing Chaitanya as Shailaja Reddy Alludu. But he is the grandson of Akkineni Nageswara Rao garu and the eldest son of Nagarjuna. Chaitanya is taking our legacy forward. I’m fond of films that boast of strong women characters and it feels good to see my heroine Ramya Krishnan playing Chaitanya’s Attamma in this film. All credit to Gopi Sundar for completing his work diligently, after Kerala floods. Maruthi knows the pulse of the mass audience and I’m confident that Shailaja Reddy Alludu is going to be a smash hit.”

Produced by Naga Vamsi S and PDV Prasad, the film has received U/A certificate from the CBFC and is slated for release on September 13.
