We had earlier reported that Udhayanidhi had replaced Shanthanu in Mysskin's yet-to-be-titled thriller, and that Aditi Rao Hydari has been signed to play the female lead. PC Sreeram, who is in charge of the film's cinematography, took to Twitter yesterday to officially announce the principal cast and confirm that the film has been titled, Psycho. He also added that Ilaiyaraaja will be scoring the music for the film. It was earlier reported that AR Rahman was the film's composer when Shantanu was a part of the project.

The cast of Psycho also includes Nithya Menon and director Ram, who is said to play an intense cop in the film. The film is expected to begin rolling by the end of this month and the first look will be launched on Friday.

Meanwhile, Udhayanidhi is currently awaiting the release of Seenu Ramasamy's Kanne Kalaimaane, while Aditi Rao Hydari has Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, which will hit the screens on September 28.
