Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film Seema Raja is said to be heavy on CG in the period portions of the film. A source close to the unit says, “The film will have about 20 minutes of heavy VFX in the flashback portions.” A brief glimpse of Sivakarthikeyan’s warrior look in the recently launched trailer has led to comparisons with the Baahubali franchise.  
 

Directed by Ponram, Seema Raja will have the actor playing a descendant of a royal family. The actor-director duo has earlier collaborated on Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan, both blockbusters.

Produced by 24 AM studios, Seemaraja will hit the screens on September 13. The film also features Samantha, Simran, Soori, and Napoleon, with a cameo by Keerthy Suresh.
