After several changes, actor-director Allari Ravi Babu's Adhugo has a release date. The piglet drama will land in cinemas on November 7 on the occasion of Diwali. Billed as an action-comedy, the film is India's first live-action 3D animation entertainer featuring a photo-realistic piglet as the central character.

“Ravi Babu has grown a pig farm with about 150 piglets to shoot for this film. Every couple of days, they had to change the piglet to capture its moments for the character,” reveals a source.

Starring Ravi Babu in a crucial role, the film has Nabha Natesh and Abhishek Varma as the lead pair. Ravi Babu, who is also the producer of the film, is planning to release the film simultaneously in multiple languages.

"The Hindi rights of the film have fetched a fancy price and there are several distributors from Tamil vying for the theatrical rights," the source adds.

Presented by Suresh Babu, Adhugo's trailer, which was released recently, has got the attention of the audience with its top-notch special effects.
