The sixth film in the franchise will take off right after Terminator 2: Judgement Day

The roulette of release dates for the next instalment in the Terminator franchise has now come to a stop at November 1, 2019. Paramount Pictures have pushed the date up from its original November 15 release after Warner Bros announced that Wonder Woman 1984, earlier scheduled for release on the same date, would now be postponed to 2020.

The sixth film in the franchise will take off right after Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Directed by Tim Miller of Deadpool fame and produced by James Cameron, Terminator 6 is an attempt to reboot the Terminator franchise after three not-so-impressive follow-ups to the 1991 film. Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back as the Terminator and Linda Hamilton will be reprising her iconic role as Sarah Connor.

As things stand, Terminator 6 will be facing off at the box-office against the Elizabeth Banks-directed reboot of Charlie's Angels, which was also rescheduled to a November 1 release after the postponement of Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman sequel.
