After Sandakozhi 2, it looks like a Jayalalithaa biopic might be Linguswamy’s next film. Jeyanandh Dhivakaran, nephew of Jayalalithaa’s former aide, Sasikala, has announced that ‘his friend’ Linguswamy will be directing a biopic on the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister. He has further added that this film will give adequate importance to the roles of Sasikala and her late husband, Nataraj. The cast and crew of the film are yet to be announced.

Incidentally, three filmmakers have already announced biopics on Jayalalithaa. Myskkin’s erstwhile assistant, Priyadharshini, will be directing a project starring Nithya Menen as Jayalalithaa. Directors Vijay and Bharathiraja have also announced biopics on the late Chief Minister.
