Sasikumar and Bharathiraja join hands for Suseenthiran’s next

Titled Kennedy Club, the film is based on a women’s kabaddi crew and will be the director’s fourth sports film

Filmmaker Suseenthiran, who was recently in the news for wrapping up his sports film, Champion, has begun shooting for his next with Sasikumar and Bharathiraja in the lead. Titled Kennedy Club, the film is based on a women’s kabaddi crew.

Co-starring Soori, Munishkanth Ramdoss, Meenakshi, and Gayathrie in important roles, along with real-life kabaddi players, the film has music by D Imman and cinematography by Gurudev. It is slated to hit the screens on April 14, 2019, and is planned to be shot primarily in and around Pazhani. The crew is currently on the hunt for a Bollywood actor to play the film’s antagonist. 

Kennedy Club is Suseenthiran’s fourth sports film after Venila Kabadi Kuzhu, Jeeva and Champion. He also has a film titled Angelina, with a cast comprising of newcomers, in the pipeline.
