Vishal and Lingusamy to join hands again for Sandakozhi 3

Talking at an event, Lingusamy said, "We will finalise the script in the next three to six months. There won't be a delay similar to the one between the first two films"

In the recently conducted press meet of Sandakozhi 2, the lead actor and producer of the film, Vishal revealed that he will be joining hands with Lingusamy once again for a third instalment of the Sandakozhi franchise. 

Talking at the event, director Lingusamy also confirmed the news and said, "We will finalise the script in the next three to six months. There won't be a delay similar to the one between the first two films." Sandakozhi, which was released in 2005, established Vishal as an action hero. 

Apart from Vishal, Sandakozhi 2 also has Rajkiran reprising his role from the first film. While Keerthy Suresh replaces Meera Jasmine as the female lead in the sequel, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar essays the role of the antagonist.  

With music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and editing by Praveen KL, the film is scheduled for release on October 18, on the occasion of Ayudha Pooja.
