The first look poster of Dangal director Nitish Tiwari’s upcoming film, Chhichhore, was unveiled today. The student-drama film stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty, Tushar Pandey, Saharsh Shukla and Prateik Babbar. The coming-of-age story is set against the background of engineering colleges in India. The poster depicts young and old versions of the leading characters.

Chhichhore is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios. The film is scheduled for release on August 30, 2019.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s upcoming films also include  Drive, Kedarnath, Sonchiriya and Kizie Aur Manny. He was last seen in Raabta. Shraddha Kapoor, on the other hand, recently delivered a hit with the horror-comedy Stree. She will next be seen in the Prabhas-starrer trilingual film, Saaho, and an upcoming biopic on badminton champion Saina Nehwal.

Nitesh Tiwari began his filmmaking career by co-directing the 2011 film, Chillar Party. He directed the comedy film Bhootnath Returns in 2014, followed by the sports drama Dangal in 2016. Starring Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra, Dangal holds the record of the highest grossing Bollywood film ever.
