The final leg of shoot of the Prabhudheva-starrer Yung Mung Sung is going on in full swing in the city. A martial arts fight-sequence involving the actor and Prabhakar (who played Kaalakeya in Baahubali) was recently shot in the suburb of Pozhichalur.

The martial arts action-comedy directed by MS Arjun, former assistant to Mundasupatti director Ram Kumar and Indru Netru Naalai-fame Ravikumar, is said to be a period film chronicling the events from 1970 to 1987. The film, which has Prabhudheva playing the role of a kung fu master, takes its title from the names of the three characters it revolves around - Yenganarayan (Prabhudheva), Mangalam (RJ Balaji), and Shankar (Ashwin). It was recently reported that Prabhudheva was in China to train in martial arts for the film.

While Lakshmi Menon plays a Bharatanatyam dancer, Yung Mung Sung also has Thangar Bachan playing Prabhudheva's father. Produced by KS Srinivasan and KS Sivaraman for Vasans Visual Ventures banner, the film is expected to get a release later this year.
