The team of Kavacham, starring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Kajal Aggarwal, has wrapped up the shooting. The post-production formalities have been underway, simultaneously, for a while now. Directed by debutant Sreenivas Mamilla, the film also marks the Telugu debut of Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who plays the antagonist. The action-thriller, which shows Sreenivas as a fiery cop, will now hit the screens on December 7.

“As several conjectures were being made about the release date of Kavacham, we reaffirm that the film will land in cinemas on December 7,” read a statement from the makers.

The film's teaser has already created a buzz amongst the audience. SS Thaman, who is basking in the success of Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, has composed the music for this film produced by Naveen Sontineni under Vamsadhara Creations. The film’s theatrical trailer and audio will be unveiled at the pre-release event on December 2 in Bhimavaram.
