After the success of his 2017 sleeper hit, Maragatha Naanayam, director ARK Saravanan's next film, titled Minnal Veeran, will star Atharvaa in the lead. Bankrolled by Madhiazhagan under the banner of Etcetera Entertainment, the project will co-star Parvathy Nair. 

After a brief skirmish between the producer and Atharvaa over the film, actor Vishal, in his capacity as president of the Producers' Council had an extensive talk with both parties and solved the issue. 

Talking about Minnal Veeran, Parvathy, who was recently seen in the Malayalam film Neerali, says, "After listening to a lot of scripts post-Neerali, I was a bit tired and was looking for a script that would energise me and make me grab it with both hands. Minnal Veeran is that kind of a script."

With D Imman in charge of the music and cinematography by Deepak Menon, Minnal Veeran is set to go on floors soon.
