The blockbuster duo of Vijay and Nayanthara will reunite after a decade for director Atlee's next film. Bankrolled by AGS Entertainment, this will be the first time the two stars be seen together on screen since the 2009 Prabhudheva-directorial Villu.

Producer Archana Kalpathi took to social media to announce the news. 

While Atlee reunites with Vijay after Mersal and Theri for the film, this will be the director's second film with Nayanthara, after his debut film, Raja Rani.

The Mersal team of Vijay, Atlee, music director AR Rahman, and cinematographer GK Vishnu will join hands for this project, which is expected to hit the screens next Diwali.
