We had told you a few weeks ago that Bobby Simha has been signed to play Velupillai Prabhakaran in the biopic of the leader of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), in Seerum Puli (Raging Tiger), directed by Venkatesh Kumar G, a student of late cinematographer and filmmaker, Balu Mahendra. 

The first look poster of the film, featuring Bobby Simha as Prabhakaran, clad in his military uniform, was launched yesterday to commemorate the late leader's birthday. 

Seerum Puli will reportedly trace Prabhakaran's life, from his birth, in detail. Produced by Studio 18, the biopic is expected to go on floors soon. The makers are yet to disclose the principal cast and crew of the film.
