After more than a decade, ace cinematographer Rajiv Menon is making a comeback as director with Sarvam Thala Mayam, which is set to hit the theatres on December 28. The film starring GV Prakash Kumar, Aparna Balamurali, Vineeth, Kumaravel, and Dhivyadarshini will have music by AR Rahman. Sarvam Thala Mayam had its worldwide premiere at the Tokyo International Film Festival. Interestingly,  this is the first film of GV Prakash Kumar which has music by his uncle AR Rahman. 

A musical, the film documents the journey of a young musician’s journey into the world of Carnatic music. Apart from donning the filmmaker’s hat, Rajiv Menon has also composed one song in Sarvam Thala Mayam. The album is expected to be launched soon.
