Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming film, Seethakaathi, has a star cast that includes Archana, J Mahendran, Mouli, Gayathrie and Ramya Nambeesan. It's now known that Sunil, brother of Meyyadha Maan-fame Vaibhav, will be making his acting debut as the antagonist in the Balaji Tharaneetharan directorial. 

Speaking about the actor, director Balaji says, "While penning the script, we had a clear vision that the antagonist’s role shouldn’t be a regular one. It is a character that will actually make the audience smile. We also needed someone with a plump look, and after meeting Sunil at an event recently, we knew he'd fit the bill perfectly. He was initially nervous, but soon got into character.”

Produced by Passion Studios, Seethakaathi will have music by Govind Vasantha, whose recent collaboration with Vijay Sethupathi in 96 received widespread acclaim. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on December 20.
