Actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan have commenced shooting for their highly-anticipated multistarrer, RRR, under the direction of SS Rajamouli. Confirming the news, Rajamouli took to Twitter and shared a picture of him, Ram Charan and Jr NTR from the location. 

The team began by filming an action sequence for the interval block of the film, conceptualised by action choreographers Ram Lakshman, in the forest and fort sets created by National Award-winning production designer Sabu Cyril at Kokapet. According to a source, about 50 per cent of RRR will be shot in this extravagant set and the team has decided to stay in a specially built courtyard house to reduce travel stress.

Mounted on a lavish scale under DVV Entertainments, RRR features Jr NTR in a rugged avatar designed by his personal trainer, Lloyd Stevens, while celebrity hair-stylist Aalim Hakim has been entrusted with the responsibility of styling Ram Charan’s look for the film.

The makers are considering Jhanvi Kapoor and Keerthy Suresh for female lead roles. MM Keeravani provides the music for the film, which is to be simultaneously released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi in 2020.
