We had earlier reported that AR Rahman is collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan for an anthem for the Hockey World Cup. In a surprise addition, it has now come to light that Nayanthara is part of the project as well. The Imaikka Nodigal actor makes a brief appearance in the promo that Rahman shared, incidentally, on her birthday. Interestingly, Nayanthara and ARR have collaborated only once before, in Rajinikanth’s Sivaji, in which the former appeared in a special song.

Nayanthara is currently working on Sarjun’s horror-thriller, Airaa, which will feature her in a dual role for the first time. After that, she will be working on Aramm 2 with director Gopi Nainar. The Kolamavu Kokila actor also has Kolaiyuthir Kaalam, Viswasam, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and the Sivakarthikeyan-Rajesh project in various stages of production.
