While it was earlier reported that Dhuruvangal Pathinaru-fame Karthick Naren might team up with Simbu for a new film, reports now state that the young filmmaker might associate with his Naragasooran-actor Arvind Swami. It has also said that the film will most likely be bankrolled by Lyca Productions. 

Karthcik Naren launched a light-hearted drama film, titled Nadaga Medai, under his own production banner, Knight Nostalgia Filmotainment, earlier this year. But according to sources, that film has been stalled temporarily and will go on floors after the director completes his third directorial. 

Meanwhile, the release date of his long-awaited second directorial, Naragasooran, which also stars Sundeep Kishan, Aathmika, Shriya Saran and Indrajith Sukumaran, is yet to be announced.
