Kombu Vatcha Singamda (KVS), the new film from the actor and director duo of Sasi Kumar and SR Prabhakaran, went on floors on Monday. Sources say that KVS will have a rural setting, much like their first film, Sundarapandian. Word has it that it will deal with the rich heritage of jallikattu, and the need to spread awareness about this heroic sport.

Madonna Sebastian, who was last seen in Vijay Sethupathi's Junga, plays the female lead in this film. Produced by actor Inder Kumar under his banner Redhan Cinema, KVS has music by Maragadha Naanayam-fame Dhibu Ninan Thomas.

Meanwhile, Madonna also has the Kannada film, Kotigobba 3, alongside Sudeep in her kitty. Sasikumar, on the other hand, has projects like Karthik Subbraj's Petta, Gautham Menon's Enai Noki Paayum Thotta, and Nadodigal 2 in various stages of production.
