Raghava Lawrence has recently completed the shoot of the latest film in the highly successful Muni franchise, Kanchana 3. With only one song left to be shot, the film, which is currently in post-production, is expected to hit the theatres on April 18, to cash in on the summer holidays.

Kanchana 3, which went on the floors in the last week of October 2017, was initially slated for a Christmas 2018 release, but was then delayed. The film, which stars Raghava Lawrence in the lead, features three heroines - Oviya, Vedhika, and a newcomer called Nikitha. Kovai Sarala, Manobala, Sriman, and Devadarshini return to reprise their respective roles in the franchise.

A direct sequel to Kanchana 2, this is touted to be the most expensive film in the franchise. Produced by Sun Pictures, Kanchana 3 has music by S Thaman and cinematography by Sarvesh Murari.
