Director SS Rajamouli's RRR has grabbed the limelight even before its inception because of the presence of Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. Produced by DVV Danayya, the film's principal shooting will commence on November 19 with an action sequence featuring the lead actors in a specially constructed fort set in Hyderabad.

Now, rumour has it that the makers have approached Bollywood actor, Jhanvi Kapoor, daughter of late veteran actor Sridevi, for the female lead role opposite Ram Charan. "Rajamouli has evinced interest to cast Jhanvi, who made her debut with Dhadak earlier this year. The team have initiated talks with her and are currently working on the remaining formalities aided by Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar," says a source.

Incidentally, Rajamouli wanted to cast Sridevi for Sivagami's role in the Baahubali franchise, but things did not work out. If everything falls into place this time around, RRR will mark the Telugu debut of Jhanvi.

Meanwhile, reports are also doing the rounds that Keerthy Suresh has been approached for the other heroine role alongside Jr NTR.
