The Big Bang Theory finale will be emotional, says Johnny Galecki

The actor also silenced rumours of a spin-off series without Sheldon Cooper, the character played by Jim Parsons

As the famous sitcom The Big Bang Theory is about to come to an end next year with its 12th season, actor Johnny Galecki, who plays Leonard Hoffstader in the show, says the finale will leave the cast and the audience teary-eyed.

Silencing rumours that there would be a spin-off series without Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons), Johnny admitted that the cast is prepared to get very emotional while filming their final scenes. "The last episode is something that we've talked about for many, many years, and there are many variations and options. I just hope whatever we're doing in that last episode,  justifies the break down of all the characters."

Also featuring Jim Parsons, Kunal Nayyar, Simon Helberg, Melissa Rauch, Mayim Bialik and Kaley Cuoco, the 12th and final season of the show will debut in the US in September.
