Actor Nikhil's investigative thriller, Mudra, which is shaping up under the direction of TN Santosh, will hit the screens on December 28.

"The film is inspired by real incidents, and Nikhil as Arjun Suravaram, an aspiring investigative journalist, has come up with a celebratory performance. He has drawn inspiration from all the journalists and interacted with several reporters to understand the challenges at work. The film's shooting is nearing completion and the post-production is simultaneously underway," say producers Kaviya Venugopal and Rajkumar.

Also featuring Lavanya Tripathi, Mudra, a remake of the Tamil hit, Kanithan, has music by Sam CS. The cast includes Raja Ravindra, Posani Krishna Murali and Tarun Arora in pivotal roles.
