Last seen in the action thriller Sandakozhi 2, Vishal is all set to make his directorial debut. According to reliable sources, the film is said to carry a social message and revolve around animals.

Vishal, who made his acting debut through Chellame in 2004, entered the film industry as an assistant director to Arjun with 2001's Vedham. The actor, who has been teasing his directorial debut for quite a few years, has finally confirmed that he will helm a film soon. Reportedly, the film will star a female animal activist. There is no word yet about the rest of the cast and crew.

Sources state that the script of the yet-to-be-titled film is in the final stages and the animals are being trained for it. Meanwhile, Vishal is busy with his acting projects such as the Temper remake, Ayogya, and an untitled film helmed by Sunder C.
