Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will see Jude Law playing young Dumbledore, the charismatic future Hogwarts headmaster. Jude Law, who plays young Albus Dumbledore for the first time, feels the experience of stepping into the classroom as Dumbledore was an experience beyond acting. Jude Law says, “The children in those scenes were so excited to be there, and I shared their excitement. My parents are both teachers, so I really enjoyed being a teacher for the day. Like everyone else, I’ve seen those classes onscreen, so suddenly to be in that position was extraordinary. Sometimes acting is slightly out-of-body—you’re there in the moment, but later, when you look back on it, you realise how special it was.”

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of  Grindelwald, based on  JK Rowling’s wizarding world set 70 years before the Harry Potter books, explores the adventure of ‘magizoologist’ Newt Scamander. The film is written by JK Rowling and directed by David Yates, and set for release on November 16 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
