The first look of the Bobby Simha-starrer Agni Dev was released on social media on Monday. With a backdrop of the Tamil Nadu Secretariat being highlighted, the first look depicts the National Award-winning actor squaring it off against Madhoo, who is seen in a look seemingly inspired by the late CM, Jayalalithaa. 

Starring Ramya Nambeesan opposite Bobby Simha, the JPR-Sham Surya directorial also stars Sathish in an important role. This is the second time director JPR is adapting a Rajesh Kumar novel into a film. He previously helmed the Sarathkumar-starrer Chennaiyil Oru Naal 2. 

Agni Dev is bankrolled by Seantoa Studio in association with Jai Film Productions and has music by Jakes Bejoy.
