Twin sisters from Tumhari Sulu to reprise their roles in Kaatrin Mozhi

CE Features

Twin sisters Seema Taneja and Sindhu Shekaran played the elder sisters of Vidya Balan, who always criticise her as a school dropout and mock her failed business ideas, in last year's hit, Tumhari Sulu. The twins are all set to reprise their roles in Kaatrin Mozhi, the film's Tamil remake, directed by Radha Mohan.

Interestingly, the director had earlier announced a casting call for actors who could speak fluent Tamil for playing the sisters' roles in the Tamil version. Now, it seems like the makers have zeroed in on the original actors themselves.

Kaatrin Mozhi is Radha Mohan and Jyotika's second film together after the highly successful Mozhi in 2007. Mynaa-fame Vidharth and Telugu actor Lakshmi Manchu, who was last seen in Mani Ratnam's Kadal, will be playing the roles of Jyotika's husband and the radio station head, respectively, while STR and Yogi Babu appear in cameos.

The film is scheduled for release on November 16.
