Oviya, who made heads turn with her stint in the first season of Bigg Boss Tamil, has started shooting for K2 (earlier titled Kalavani 2) recently. The film is directed by Sarkunam. It was earlier speculated that the actor might not be a part of the film. 

A source close to Oviya reveals that she will be shooting for K2 till mid-June. "This role will be quite a contrast to her other film 90 ML. In this Vemel-starrer, she will be seen as a bold girl in traditional clothes," adds the source. 

Oviya also has Silukkuvarpatti Singam and Muni 4 in her kitty, besides an untitled film with Snehan. The film is said to be directed by Ganesh Babu and produced by Sri Vishnu Creations.
