The makers of Chota Bheem, the famous children's cartoon show, Green Gold Animation Pvt Ltd, has produced a new mythological animation film called Hanuman vs Mahiravana. The film will also be getting a Tamil release, titled Hanumanum Mayilravananum. 

The film is based on an untold story from the epic Ramayana, featuring Hanuman who fights against Ravan's underworld, an evil sorcerer brother, Mahiravana, to save Ram and Laxman. The makers apparently felt that the film has national appeal and the potential to do well with audiences of all ages, so they are releasing the film in Hindi, Tamil and English. 

Directed by Dr Ezhil Vendan, Hanuman vs Mahiravana is set to be released across India on June 22.
