It was recently reported that Simran would be pairing up with Rajinikanth for the first time in the upcoming Karthik Subbaraj film. And now, a new source has stated that Bobby Simha and Jil Jung Juk-fame Sananth will play important roles in the yet-to-be-titled film. 

Bobby has worked with Karthik in films like Pizza, Jiggarthanda and Iraivi, while Sananth played one of the leads in the director's Mercury. It has been speculated that both the actors will play Rajini's sons in the film. The Sun Pictures' production already has Vijay Sethupathi playing a vital role. 

Expected to be a political thriller, the film has music by Anirudh Ravichander, marking his first collaboration with Karthik Subbaraj and Rajinikanth.
