Sai Dharam Tej and Anupama Parameswaran’s upcoming romcom Tej - I love you has been locked for release on June 29.

“The film’s shooting has been wrapped up with the recent Paris schedule. The editing and dubbing works are underway and the film is slated for release in the last week of June,” reads a statement from the makers.

In the film, Tej will be seen as a boy-next-door, who falls head-over-heels for Nandini, played by Anupama. Rumour has it that the film’s core idea is inspired from the American romantic drama The Vow (2012).

Produced by KS Rama Rao, Tej -- I love you is being directed by A Karunakaran, who earlier helmed romcoms like Tholi Prema, Ullasamga Utsahamga and Darling. Gopi Sundar is scoring the music for the film, while Darling Swamy has penned the dialogues.

Tej, who has been going through a lean patch with a string of duds, is hoping to redeem his career with this film.
