Huge set in Chennai for Gorilla

The film's final leg of shooting will take place at EVP Film City in Chennai

We had told you that Jiiva and Shalini Pandey of Arjun Reddy fame were teaming up for a film called Gorilla. Now, the latest we hear is that the team have started their final leg of shooting in Chennai. The first schedule was completed in Puducherry and the second in Thailand. A huge set has been constructed at EVP Film City for the Chennai portions.

Directed by newcomer Don Sandy, the film features a chimpanzee named Kong. Also starring Radha Ravi, Sathish, Munishkanth, Yogi Babu, and Rajendran, Gorilla will have Jiiva donning the role of a youngster who speaks the Chennai dialect.

It's rumoured that the film is a heist comedy about a chimp who helps a team rob a bank. Produced by All In pictures, Gorilla has music by Sam CS of Vikram Vedha fame.
