Actor-director Prabhudheva, who was last seen in the silent film Mercury, for which he won rave reviews, has signed a new project with director AC Mugil of Kandaen fame. Produced by Nemichand Jhabak, this action film will have Prabhudheva playing the role of a cop for the first time in his career. The rest of the cast and crew details are expected to be announced soon. 

Prabhudheva currently has Yung Mung Sung, Lakshmi, Charlie Chaplin 2 and the Hindi film Khamoshi in different stages of production. He will also be directing Salman Khan in Dabangg 3, which is in pre-production.
