Director Ranjith and his long-time muse Mohanlal are teaming up once again. The shoot of their yet untitled film has begun in London. The actor has confirmed the news on his Twitter handle.

Ranjith was initially supposed to direct Mohanlal in Bilathikadha but both of them decided to pull out of it at the last minute and do an entirely different project. The film is another addition to a long series of collaborations between the two that began with Devasuram in 1993. They last worked together on Loham three years ago.

The upcoming film will be based on an original script written by the filmmaker himself. Apart from Mohanlal, the film will have a supporting cast comprising of Arundathi Nag, Kaniha, Siddique, director Dileesh Pothan, director Shyamaprasad, and Tiny Tom among others. Cinematography is by Alagappan, music by Vinu Thomas, and editing by Prashanth Narayanan.
