Malavika Avinash, last seen in Vijay's Bairavaa, is expected to essay a pivotal role in Atharvaa's Boomerang. She took to Twitter to reveal the news.

The actor is the latest to join veteran director J Mahendran, who is appearing in a cameo as himself in the film.

Boomerang, featuring Atharvaa in the lead will see him sporting three different looks with award-winning make-up artists Preetisheel Singh and Mark Troy D'Souza, who have worked in films like Padmaavat and 102 Not Out.

ENPT actor Megha Akash, Induja of Mercury fame, Bollywood actor Upen Patel and RJ Balaji make up rest of the star cast.
