We reported some time ago that Sivakarthikeyan, fresh from the success of Velaikkaran, had signed a comedy film under the direction Rajesh of Siva Manasula Sakthi fame. The project, produced by Studio Green's Gnanavel Raja and co-starring Sathish, went on floors earlier this month. It's now confirmed that Nayanthara has been roped in as the female lead for this film. 

Studio Green, which earlier collaborated with the actor on the Suriya-starrer Masss, announced the news on Twitter. Incidentally, Nayanthara played the female lead in Sivakarthikeyan's Velaikkaran too. Rajesh has also previously worked with Nayanthara on the 2010 film, Boss Engira Bhaskaran. 

While Sivakarthikeyan, who recently wrapped up Seema Raja, has a science fiction film with director Ravikumar, co-starring Rakul Preeth, Nayanthara has Imaikkaa Nodigal, Kolaiyuthir Kaalam, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Kolamavu Kokila in various stages of productions. Apart from these films, she has also commenced shooting for Ajith's Viswasam, which went on floors on Monday.
