The shooting of the director's Sailaja Reddy Alludu has been put on hold while the actor completes his schedule for Chandoo Mondeti’s Savyasaachi

Actor Naga Chaitanya has started shooting for director Chandoo Mondeti’s Savyasaachi and Maruthi’s Sailaja Reddy Alludu (SRA) almost simultaneously. The Thadaka actor has allocated an entire shooting slot to the Chandoo Mondeti-directorial forcing Maruthi and his team to wait for his arrival.

“Maruthi has completed the first half of Sailaja Reddy Alludu in 20 days and he had to stop the shoot midway owing to the actor’s other commitment. The director who needed Chaitanya to complete the remaining portions had sought another 30 days to shoot the second half. But Chaitanya couldn’t adjust the dates, and he recently left to New York to shoot for Chandoo’s film causing some delay in the production of Sailaja Reddy Alludu. In all probability, if the actor wraps up Savyasaachi by the first week of June, he will resume shooting for Maruthi’s film in July,” says a source.

Produced under Sitara Entertainments, Sailaja Reddy Alludu is billed to be an arrogant love story and also features Anu Emmanuel as the female lead.
