Inspired by the onscreen character he has portrayed in his latest outing Naa Peru Surya – Naa Illu India, actor Allu Arjun has revealed that he is eager to join the Indian Army soon.

“We have shot the film in real locations with real soldiers. I have done many films in the past but the respect I have earned after playing a soldier’s role in Naa Peru Surya made me feel proud. I had applied to join as an honorary member of our Army and I’m hoping to get a nod from the officials. That’s my only wish after I decided to do this film,” said Allu Arjun on the sidelines of a special premiere for the Army personnel in Hyderabad.
