Kannada director PN Sathya passes away

A writer and director, Satya made his debut with the Darshan-starrer Majestic

Kannada director, PN Sathya was suffering from illness and had been admitted at a private hospital for the last two weeks. Sathya, who was recovering got discharged on Wednesday, but breathed his last at his residence.

A writer and director, Satya made his debut with the Darshan-starrer Majestic, which introduced the actor in a lead role. He followed this up with films like Daasa, Shastri, Gooli with Sudeep; Thangigagi with Shivarajkumar; and Shivajinagara with Duniya Vijay. His last film was Mari Tiger starring Vinod Prabhakar. 

Sathya has also acted in 21 films.
